Steve Jobs made some comments Tuesday regarding the iPhone’s flash support.
Steve basically said that the mobile version of Flash “Flash Lite” just isn’t good enough for Safari Mobile and the more robust flash player that is built for desktop and laptop computers just runs too slowly on the iPhone.
So it looks like we won’t be getting flash support on the iPhone/iPod Touch for a while, hopefully Steve Jobs will realize that some flash support (Flash Lite) is better than no flash support (what we have now) and just put flash support in mobile Safari anyways.
Let’s hope it doesn’t take too long because I know many people who would love to start using YouTube for REAL instead of the app Apple built for it.
