That’s right, you can now purchase the iPod Shuffle for the low low price of $49. This of course makes me incredibly happy, especially since I just purchased two of them no more than a month ago.
I guess it was inevitable, 1GB of storage just isn’t what it used to be.
In the middle of writing this post the store went down, but I didn’t notice any other changes to the store we’ll see soon.
Apple also announced a 2GB iPod Shuffle at $69 although I haven’t seen any sign of it in the online store. It is mentioned on Apple’s Hot News page.
