The Asus Eee PC is now available online for $299, and not only that but now you can also purchase them in colors.
There are 5 colors to choose from:
The $299 version comes with 512MB of memory and a 2GB solid state hard disk. This version is also missing the webcam but does still come with the MMC/SD (SDHC) card slot.
There is also an addition of a $399 version
which comes with 1GB of memory and an 8GB solid state disk. (I personally would spring for the $299 Black version if I was looking to purchase a smaller notebook).
