This Friday Via Technologies will begin rolling out the “ARTIiGO” DIY mini-pc kit. The kit includes the EPIA PX10000 Pico-ITX motherboard with a 1GHz C7 Via processor, a small case to hold the PC, power adapter, and some accessories. The do it yourself package does not include a hard drive or memory.
The unit measures 5.9 x 4.3 x 1.8 Inches and weighs less than 1.2 pounds. The kit is going to be sold for $300 which I believe to be a very fair price. Although it doesn’t come with everything you need to run the computer I’m sure you could put one together with this kit for less than $400.
