Well it won’t really mean much to most of you since they are pretty high end specialty applications but Apple did have a few announcements yesterday at NAB.
Final Cut Server which is an application that would run on a Mac and several clients would run concurently on either Windows or Mac computers. The software won’t ship until this summer and it will be priced $999 for 10 client licenses or $1999 for unlimited clients. Find out more about it here.
Apple also announced Final Cut Studio 2. Including Final Cut Pro 6, Motion 3, Soundtrack Pro 2, Color, Compressor 3, and DVD Studio Pro 4.
