Cnet did a little test between the real world and the Apple iPhone Ads. The testing methods weren’t the best I’ve ever seen but I do think that the phone is pretty close to as fast as it is in the ad. I’ve done some of this testing myself and was a heck of a lot slower then the person on the commercial was at going through the interface, but hey, I’m sure they’ve had a bit more time to practice exactly what they were doing.
